Salwa and Mohamed’s katb ketab took place at the Heenat Salma Farm during Asr, surrounded by fields, flowers and a grounding calm.

There was something about the event that felt light in a way that’s hard to explain, but I know everyone felt it. Everyone was close, everything felt intentional. Family and closest friends gathered, and the ceremony moved with a soft rhythm. As the evening moved into dinner, the sound of the oud filled the space, and the whole setting felt warm and familiar. Food from the farm, great conversations, and laughter brought a sense of togetherness to the celebration.

A beginning shaped by faith, connection, and a light that stayed long after the moment had passed.
